15. Podcasts - I listened to a podcast from Podcast.com and found an intersting podcast. It was about Library services for Alumni. I added the RSS feed and I thought maybe we could do this for our Library.

Week 5 (12) : Social Networking

12. Twitter - This was interesting, I set up a Twitter account and I am following 20 people, sent a message (What are you doing right now) and then went to Tweetdeck. I tried to download the software and got an error message. My user name is CMbuzzard.

I had an email from a Twitter follower and thought I would share. This could also be on my YouTube enty. You should take a look, it is a hoot.

Week 5 (11) : Social Networking

11. Chat/IM - I set up a gmail account and played around with the chat box. I added a buddy and then clicked somewhere where it said set up a screen name. I did that (Grand11buzzard) and ended up making an AOL account in AIM Dashboard. This was very confusing so now I know I set up 2 accounts, one in Gmail and one in AOL. After all this I went back to Gmail and sent a buddy a message. This is one example of being on one page and led to another.

Week 5 (10) : Social Networking

10 Facebook - I am never sure I want to add information to anything. I will say this was a lot easier then some of the 23 Things. I did invite a few friends and that was fairly simple.

I added a Twitter and Teachers : A Mini Workshop by e-Teaching Courses and Workshops to my page.

Week 2 (4) : Photos & Images

4. Create an Avatar - As you can see by my avatar, I look nothing like her and that is the best part. Folks can view me as a cool avatar.
